WANTED: Edison Home with H&S Decal

Hi Everyone,

I saw this Edison Home on ebay the other day and the H&S decal really stood out to me. I have seen a very few over the years and would like to have one for my collection. Does anyone have one for sale or know of any leads to someone that might?

Any machines with H&S decals are rare - and especially Edison Phonographs since H&S was "blackballed" by Edison in 1899. Applying a reproduction H&S decal to an Edison that post-dates that event would be anachronistic.

Still, H&S labeled Edisons turn up from time to time. Be vigilant and patient; chances are you'll find one. As a case in point, I was fortunate enough to find this one last year (with the earlier style H&S decal):

You're welcome, Bob. I don't think this decal design was used beyond the first few months of 1898. This Home dates from January. I'd be interested in knowing the models and serial numbers of other Edisons bearing this decal.
