I have for sale a Victor RE-45, a “microsynchronous” radio and Electrola phonograph combination - one of the final products introduced by Victor in the spring of 1929.
Downsizing to MUCH smaller house, MUST SELL. C'mon, it's a great and beautiful radio/phono! Anyone?!
• hinged doors on front
• nicely-figured walnut cabinet
• new period correct grille cloth (Richmond Designs)
• characteristic "late 1920's" sound
• restored in 2021 by Chuck in Perkasie, PA
• wiring replaced as needed, aligned, new power cord
• new LED dial bulb
• includes added switch for playing iPad/iPod/phone and Reproduction Instruction Manual
Volume control on radio needs attention (adjustment? replacement? unknown) – it works but volume can randomly intermittently fluctuate.
Price: $295 OBO
BONUS! Complete second working tuner included! Has all parts/tubes. Purchased for replacing broken station pointer on the radio dial but never completed.
Sold “as is” - info reliable but not guaranteed!
Pick-Up ONLY (very heavy)
I’m in the DC Metro area, right off the 495 Beltway at River Road. I welcome questions and comments! Thanks for taking a look.
