I am offering this beautiful, gently restored, front-mount Zonophone Concert phonograph. The photos will speak to the quality of this machine, but here's some important observations:
- 100% All original horn, arms, crank, and reproducer, seldom seen in front-mount Zonophones with the longer horns.
The case has been expertly refinished with orange shellac. Presents very well.
Original "Concert" decal.
Excellent original nickel finish on the 'waffle' bedplate.
Correct and original brake spring steel and leather shoe.
Original long-throat "Exhibition" style reproducer. Rebuilt with new gaskets.
Nice nickel on the arms and turntable.
Newer turntable felt.
Original and correct crank.
Original 24" all brass horn that is free of dents. Has a few old scratches when you look closely, but is nicely polished. Original thumb screw on horn elbow.
Motor runs great....very quiet for an early Zonophone. Has a new main spring as well. Speed control works as expected.
I have taken many photos. PM me if you want to see more photos.
Reasonable asking price of $2,150 plus the cost of packaging and shipping via Fed Ex. One box for machine/components and a second box for the horn. I'm an excellent packer, just ask around.
Personal check or Paypal Friends and Family only.
Please contact me via PM as to the machine's availability because, in addition to the Forum, it is for sale elsewhere.
