I am looking for one governor weight and spring for a Columbia B Eagle. One was missing when I purchased the phonograph.
However, I'm assuming all three governor springs should be replaced instead of just one? If anyone knows of a source to get pre-cut springs for this phonograph, please let me know.
I'm also interested in a belt cover but would like to find the correct one. Based on what I've read, I believe this phonograph was made in 1897 or 1898 due to the all wood handle on the lid and no printed end cap on the mandrel. From what I can gather, the printing on the belt cover changed over the years.
Thanks!

You're correct - all three governor weights/springs should be replaced. You can get these from:
Brian Parlier: www.thephonographshop.com
George Vollema: http://www.victroladoctor.com/
Duane Wyatt: http://wyattsmusical.com/
If you provide the serial number of your Eagle, I can let you know what type belt cover was originally supplied with it.

Kevin,
Eagle #113811 was originally supplied with a plain (unstamped) belt cover. This particular Eagle dates from early 1898.
