Here is the only Puck Phonograph that I’ve ever found. It’s missing the horn, reproducer and the main spring needs to be repaired or replaced. In pretty nice original condition. PM, PayPal, USPS extra at cost.
Thanks,
Doug

That looks a lot like mine.
Is it marked C & Co on the underside of the base?

Hi Shane,
Here's a picture of the underside. The only stamp I see in the casting is a number "2".

Ah, that's a shame there's no makers brand on the underside.
Still, there were quite a few companies who made these lyre based pucks, so a foundry mark wouldn't necessarily guarantee identification anyway.
I guess I got lucky with mine, as I found not only the name of the toy co that made it, but also original ads showing a variety of horns choices, their prices, and even the catalogue/model number of my machine and horn combination.
From what I can see, the only thing that is different on your machine is (I think) the brake lever.
I've seen others with just one minor difference, and others with little else than the lyre base in common, so you could probably make quite an interesting collection out of nothing but Lyre based puck variations.
I'm actually a little tempted by yours, but with our current poor exchange rate and adding postage, it's probably not practical purchase for me.
I'm actually surprised someone hasn't jumped on this already.
The spring should be an easy inexpensive fix, the horns turn up now and then, and I believe reproduction reproducers are available fairly cheap if you don't want to wait for an original to appear.
I think anyone who collects cylinder phonos and records should have a puck in their collection.
They played an important role in phonograph history and bringing music to the masses, they look great, are such a simple basic compact design, and often sound as good if not better than a basic Gem or Q.
