Columbia AH in exceptional condition for a 120 year old Phonograph. True the arms are for a later version as is the horn.
Arms are in excellent condition with no cracks or breaks as is the horn with an unusually straight bell and body with original paint and has its patent imprint. Turn table is also original as is its felt which presents well. Motor bed plate nickel has some loss but is in good condition as is the motor which operates as designed. Note the photos of the motor governor large yoke. There is a crack visible. Have done nothing with regards to this other than leave it alone and enjoy the machine as is. Case finish is excellent with no issues and is all original and with no damage. Original feet still present on the bottom side. Wood graining, pictures speak for this I can’t do any better. The reproducer is original and is the correct early style for this machine and retains its original thumb screw. Some plating loss in areas one would expect but nothing that detracts. Record tie down is also original. Shows some plating loss and the back side felt is not present but at least it’s there and the plating loss is to be expected. Crank is also original. Speed flip lever has been replated at some point in its life. That’s about it. More pictures if needed. Shipping would be in two boxes and transport via USPS. Pick up in person is also an option. Revised the price. Best I will be able to do.

Re: FOR SALE: 1901 / 02 First version Columbia AH - 1550.00 plus shipping
If it doesn't sell as-is, I'll buy the reproducer and give you a nice early analyzing reproducer (period correct) to put on the machine and you can lower the price by several hundred dollars and still be a nice machine. Lower price will attract more potential buyers. Just a thought.

Would prefer to stick with the period correct reproducer that is on the machine. An analyzing version would also cause the travel arm to sit at an odd angle. The correct reproducer makes the machine more attractive since finding the correct one can be rather difficult.

Sorry Kevin. I actually meant to send the response as a pm instead of a reply. I hit the wrong button.
