Hello all
I've made a final reduction in price on this machine. I'm trying to sell by next weekend in order to invest in a few other things. If it doesn't sell at this price I will hang onto it. Thanks!
I am selling this 1908/9 Columbia BQ "Crown" 2 minute cylinder phonograph. The BQ was the first Columbia cylinder phonograph with a back mount style back bracket and tonearm, with an adapter for the top mounted reproducer. Subsequent Columbia rear mount cylinder machines had a forward facing reproducer. The carriage sleeve is brass and slides freely. There are 4 oil tubes on the back of the bedplate that direct oil to critical areas of the motor. It plays very well and the Lyric reproducer has a good sapphire.
I am asking $750 and can deliver to the APS show next weekend in Buena Park, CA. Shipping is also available if desired. Video and photos below.
