A good Phonograph collector friend died last spring in Barnsville Ohio. Barnsville is about two hours south of Cleveland. He collected records and phonographs for over 40 years. His real love was records but he also had machines, music boxes, radios, and organettes. His wife asked me to help find good homes for the items in his collection. He never cataloged his records and he loved early jazz, comedy and, historical, vaudeville and 20’s and 30’s music. His wife is overwhelmed with all the records. We decided to put the records in piles of about 150 records and sell them for $50 a stack. They have not been sorted and there are a lot of good records in the stacks. She does not want people going through the stacks and picking out the good ones plus it would take too long. So, you buy a stack and get what you get. There are around 3000 records. Everything is priced to sell.

There were a number of other phonographs that needed work. These are at my house in Maryland, near Annapolis. They have all been cleaned, polished and lubricated and are available. There are a number of excellent machines. I HAVE PUT UP A SEPARATE POSTING ABOUT THESE MACHINES. So, the collection is split and will be available in two different locations.

Come on you Ohio collectors. These are great buys and it would really help the widow if you would thak some of these machines. They are great buys!

Barnsville is an easy to swing south from the Ohio tpk. south of Cleveland. My place in Maryland is very close to I-95. There are too many machines for me to try and take them to Wayne.
