Victor 1050 parts needed

Post by bkasindorf »

Hi
I am trying to finish putting together a Victor 1050 kit.
Over the years I have accumulated parts.
I got a gutted case and spare horn. I had to destroy a complete 1050 when I moved because I didn't have room and the movers couldn't lift it.
I have most things but the drawer and shelving in the lower left was also removed. Anyone with a spare junk 1050 case have those available?

I also have a spare back for the 1050 to trade.

Is this what you need? It's not in very good shape, but it did come out of a 10-50 that a guy tore all up because he was mad at his boss for some reason. Is the drawer you need the one for the records after they have been played? I might have the one that came out of this machine, but it will need glueing back together if I still have it. I really think that the drawer (or what was left of it) got tossed, but I'll look and see if that's the drawer you need. I don't think this machine had that little drawer that goes over the 10" albums.

It is the drawer that slides out to get the reject records and the shelves that hold tbe record albums that are stored in the 1050.
This looks like it once was what I need but too much is missing.

The guy that tore that machine up, really was mad about something and his boss did fire him over it. And that's fine about it not working for you. I've been going through my garage getting rid of stuff and if it wasn't for that I probably wouldn't have known it was still around. Good luck with your machine, they are nice when they are working and a lot of fun to play records with.
