I am offering for sale a British Columbia Viva Tonal portable. This machine is most similar to a Columbia 163 so that's what I'll call it. The unit has a Thorens tonearm and reproducer from a later portable (30s is my guess) which was added by the previous owner (Gavin Rice). The record storage holds perfectly and has no issues staying secured. The outside fabric is mostly intact and in good condition, only showing usual age and a small corner tear on the bottom corner. I'm 100% going to be attending the Wayne Sunday show (still up in the air if I can arrange a ride for Saturday) so I am willing to meet a buyer at the show. The unit delivers perfect performance and is quite a hefty thing for a portable. Negotiable on price if a buyer is willing to buy at the upcoming Wayne show, convenience sake.
