Here's a beautiful model 711 Columbia Viva-tonal machine.
Motor has been completely cleaned, lubricated and adjusted - runs smooth and strong.
Reproducer has been rebuilt and tunes - sounds great.
Grille cloth is a replacement, although I have the original and will include it with this machine.
Original green velour on the turntable is a excellent condition.
I sealed the horn using beeswax.
This machine sounds terrific - clear and LOUD.
Asking $650.00

I can't BELIEVE no one on this board would consider that price for such a gorgeous machine.
Bunch of lunatics. And don't mean that in a funny Ha Ha way.

I can attest to the amazing quality of a 711, I have one. It sounds amazing, it's well built AND quite a machine to just look at should you so choose! I'd rather have this than something like a 4-40 Victor which would have been the contemporary comparison model, or close to it.

Well, there's always the usual excuses: too far away; lack of money; lack of space....Wolfe wrote:I can't BELIEVE no one on this board would consider that price for such a gorgeous machine.

It is a beautiful machine, though: anyone with the room and the funds, and within a reasonable distance, should snatch this up!
