Victrola No. 4 Brass Reproducer

Post by SignatureSeriesOwner »

Hi all,

Unfortunately, the motor on my VV 2-5 is beyond repair, and seeing how someone hacked it together probably 70 years ago, the machine itself is not worth getting restored, as it would cost twice the value of it to do so properly. So, I am selling my Brass No.4 Reproducer that was on it. I would keep it, but all my Victrola's have with gold plated hardware, or have No. 2's/Exhibitions, and I'd like to keep them "original".

There are no issues with the reproducer. It plays well, although the gaskets are original, and could probably use a replacement just for the sake of doing it. The nickel plating is in excellent shape, with only some very minor corrosion on it. The mica diaphragm is intact, and the back has no issues, aside from some wear on the finish from handing over the years.

Again, this is the No. 4, not the No. 4 "A". It is all brass.

I am going to ask $135 shipped Priority w/ tracking anywhere in the U.S.A, including AK and HI, and $155 shipped Priority anywhere else in the world.

I'm going to post this on a antique radio forum I'm a member of as well,so if it's "Sold" with no replies, you'll know why.

I prefer non-fee (or else add 3%) Paypal, but will also accept Cash, Check, or USPS Money Order.

Thanks! :D
