A Rare "Terpophon" Gramophone

I have only ever seen one of these in the last 30 years must be very rare?

I think something like this falls into the category of Rare, but not Valuable.

One that sold on US eBay a few months ago. $212.50 + shipping

I think it's an interesting little machine.

Oh yes, certainly- but not worth more than a few hundred at most, at least to me.

One more thing for this thread... I was looking through some of my phonograph/gramophone books today and I spotted a machine in Brian Jewell's "Veteran Talking Machines" (pg 100)that is very similar to the Terpophon, however the book says it's a Tempophon. Maybe a misprint in the book? The image is too small to make out the decal, but it is very similar. I'm guessing that the author made a mistake.

I think I remember seeing a picture of a machine where Terpophon was corrected into Tempophon, or was it the other way around? Something about having to change the name for legal reasons I think? Was it in one of George F Paul's books? Don't remember...
