A recent discussion in the eBay and CL section has me wondering how many different trolley cards are out there that are Victor themed.
Anyone care to post photos of their cards?
Have any members tried to find them all?

Here are a couple that I have framed. The pictures aren't the best and the Paul Whiteman is behind glass so it has a bit of reflection. The Weary River was folded at some time in the past, but is just as I got it.
There are also a number of good quality pictures of these in the Fabriazio/Paul books and also in the Rolf's Nipper books.

Dan,
Thanks for the posts.
Two very nice pieces!
I'll have to go through my Fabrizio/Paul series of books again to see what's pictured.
There is a dealer who usually sets up at the Wayne, NJ Show, who had a number of nice trolley cards some years back.
At the time, I was not in a position to purchase any of them.
Thanks again,
Gene

I know of a certain Maryland collector who used to lurk this forum who once had dozens of these trolley cards - all different. He offered to sell me a couple, but alas, I didn't have any funds at the time.

Did you change the background color to black from the original redish brown? I assume the new one is a copy that has been photoshopped or something like that. It looks very nice.

The before photo shows the background way too red. The after photo shows the background a little more black than it is. These are the same sign I found a paper restoration shop to restore it. They put a backing on the sign then filled the lost areas with vintage paper and matched the color to the original. The rest of the sign was just cleaned.

Very well done. Congratulations!

I've had this one for a number of years having purchased it from a fellow TMF member - Scott

I found this at a local antiques shop many years ago. The dealer rescued this, and many other non-phonograph related
trolley car signs, from a daycare center --- where the little children were happily cutting them up for various arts and crafts projects!!!

ARGHHHHHH...,
