New use for Diamond Disc & Diamond B diaphragms!

Post by Zwebie »

Don't throw away those used diaphragms just because the linkage breaks.
Now they can be used to upgrade your Victor reproducers to Edison's High Standards!

I would honestly love to hear what those would sound like (assuming that the gaskets and flanges were replaced with new ones)! Someone here should buy them and make a video.

If only Thomas Edison could see that? He would probably be mad.
Anyways, they look great, I have a feeling they sound really good. I wish I could hear them. I would not mind having a reproducer like that, but would not leave it on for display since it is not historically correct.

Is there room inside those reproducers for the conical ceramic piece?

It is also possible to make new links rather than throw the diaphragms away.
