Hello All: I recently found a Victor III with an incomplete motor and so am looking for a new, complete motor. If you have one available, please contact me.

An early model XI with the round metal plate motorboard uses the same motor. The only difference is that the spindle shaft is shorter.

I have an early XI with the round metal plate. I'll look at it tonight and send a photo if it's close.

Here's the one that came from the XI if you think you can use it.

This is the right motor for the Victor III. Don't forget to get the longer spindle.

Would the crank be the same, or smaller on the III? This one has an odd sized crank, it is a greater diameter than the earlier female cranks, so the crank from my VTLA or L door won't fit on the threads. It looks like he could swap the winding shaft and the spindle from his current motor if necessary, or I could just include the crank. This is the only one of this style I have seen that wasn't snapped off, which might explain the switch to a male crank.

That's it. Like I said before and like Harvey said, the spindle is the main difference. Don't forget to swap it out.
