Another one bites the dust!

Post by Gleemanguy »

Ran across this last night. Victor III being parted. From the photo is looked like a pretty darn nice machine. He indicated that the tone arm as already been sold. I guess a the owner can do what ever they want. Sort of leaves an empty feeling in your stomach to see this happen to a nice machine. http://minneapolis.craigslist.org/hnp/a ... 01174.html

To make matters worse, it sounds like he's a serial butcherer...

The response to my inquiry of why he's parting it out:
The last Victor 3 I sold on ebay went for 925 and I lost $130 on shipping plus ebay 13%. I paid $950. I sold an Edison for USA bidders only and some idiot from Turkey won and I had to cancel. They sell for more in parts because the buyer has an incomplete machine
Makes me sick thinking about it. :?

I guess the seller is in the wrong location… But perhaps he is related to this low life:

A pox on both their houses.

Best wishes, Mark
