To have the pup for 15 years of enjoyment makes you realize how much to admire and appreciate those in your life. While gone in the physical, at least you know Spice is in the spiritual realm---back in our true native land. (Still listening). Good Dog--Good Friend

My condolences, I know too well how you feel. I can't even read Kipling's poem about dogs without tearing up. The only thing that possibly fills the empty void is another dog. Each is unique and irreplaceable and never forgotten, but a new pup slowly takes the pain away as the two of you build up new experiences. Phonographs are a great hobby, but they can't love you like a dog.

My condolences too, it does hurt a lot to loose your companion. :rose:

I lost my first cat 2013 just after a year to leukemia and his successor 11 months later to FIP last summer. I am not really over it at all. But the memories will always be kept as a treasure to me.

They do have a gift for worming their way into our hearts.
