Mr. Steven Medved
Hello errybody, I was just wondering if any of you knew Mr. Medved's average turnaround time for a reproducer rebuild. it probably hasn't been that long (although it sure feels like it when I want to play a disc), which is why I am not contacting him directly (don't want to rush the master).

Re: Mr. Steven Medved
Steve does all my reproducers. He is the best there is in my opinion. Turn around time depends on the amount of work necessary and how busy he is. Recently he has been very busy. Be patient and you will get a perfectly rebuild reproducer.

That's what I figured. I just miss my diamond discs more than anything right now... especially considering I only have one cylinder, and I just spent my last needle for the lateral records I have. That Indestructible is going to be played to death, I fear...

Steven may take some time but I agree you won't be sorry your dealing with him. A most honorable man for sure, not to mention his vast knowledge of the Edison Reproducers. I heard from him tonight an he is as usual busy.

I don't know if he does Orthophonics, but for Edisons I can attest he is absolutely and unquestionably the single most knowledgeable and capable restorer around. Absolutely the best.

Steven is great to work with; conscientious to a fault, sends me interesting information about a reproducer he is working on for me, and with more than reasonable fees. He just finished up a Model O for me that should be arriving in the mail today or tomorrow.
Because of the high quality of his work I expect he always has a queue of work lined up to be done and I think he may be involved in installing the new Diamond Disc styli for people (those of you who are following that more closely please chime in if I have that wrong). I know there is a lot a pent-up demand for those.

The Bruce styli. Yeah, that's what he's doing for me.
