Stay away from this cylinder seller "joebmod" on Ebay.

I usualy don't post messages like this, but I just got burned by this guy.

I won a specific cylinder and he just shipped any generic cylinder in the box and tells me "That's the correct cylinder."...after I showed him the auction, and gave him the correct cylinder number. He refuses to ship me the correct cylinder that I won. It makes no sense. The guy is retarded.

Stay away from him.

File a dispute with ebay and you will get your money back pretty quickly without having to return the incorrect item. I know this doesn't get you your item, but at least you won't be out any money either.

looks like he has used a stock photo for most of his listings. did you ask for him to send you a photo of the cylinder before bidding since he did have a few 5000's which went for more then the 18.99 starting price.

He's definitely one of the weirdest e-bay sellers that I've ever dealt with. Surprisingly, I got an e-mail from him today saying that he is going to send me the cylinder, but that of course was only after I sent him an e-mail saying that I was opening a case with ebay. It's amazing how well that works. We'll see. This guy is a strange one. I'll update as the week progresses. Maybe he forgot to take his meds for the week, I don't know. Never had a problem with a seller like this that started out with a nasty attitude from the get-go for no reason. Seems really stange too for him to be so weird with a 10,000 positive ebay feedback.. This one I can't figure out.

Anyway, Well, If I finally get the cylinder in the mail.. I'll retract this post...but until them it stays.. I'm just glad that I wasn't buying a Pink Lambert from him!

This is not the only instance of strange weirdness
involving various ebay sellers.

I had an interaction one time with a very well-known
ebay seller who got all uppity with me just because
I dared to ask him a question about the item before
bidding on it.

Good thing I asked the question because that triggered
his extremely rude and inappropriate response, which
served to show me a very good reason to never purchase
anything from him!

So yes, there are plenty of loose cannons out there
banging around all over the deck! :monkey:

Well, After a few weeks, The seller finally sent the right cylinder and apologized..

I finally got it, but what a struggle.

I just think the guy may have too much on his hands.. Whow knows..

So at any rate... The deal eventually worked out, but it was a struggle.

I thank Joe for finally coming through on the deal... so I guess you can deal with him if you like..

Check out his sales for anything you like I guess.

Thanks,
