Congratulations! I would have bought it at that price even if I had to travel a few hours to get it.Victrolaboy wrote:I won!!!!!!!!!![]()

Well done! That's a great price for a C19, especially if you can pick it up close to your home. Please keep us updated on your progress.

Congrats, Nick. With a little elbow grease you should have a nice Mahogany Chippendale! Be sure to post some pictures for us!

My late friend Jerry Donnell gave me a C-250 back in 2002.My sister Grace, our mom,and myself went down to Jerry's to get it.We went down in her truck, and it was quite a jaunt! We did it in one day.I miss both Jerry and our mom.

Re: C-19 Going Cheap in Nashville
Thanks guys. I will post pictures as soon as I go get it. As I mentioned before, I already have an oak C-19 so I thought that if I could score another laboratory model for a good price I could restore it and sell it at my flea market booth. I was running low on my stock of phonographs to sell since I sold almost all of them in 2014 except for a BC-34. Only thing that I'm nervous about is the condition of the stylus.

Stylus condition is a crap-shoot with any of these... hope it turns-out well for you.
Do you have a grille lined-up ?
I also hope it moves for you more quickly than my C-19 is on YT.

Thomas Rutkowski (Gramps) makes reproduction grilles so I will buy one from him. I've bought one from him before and they are superb.De Soto Frank wrote:Stylus condition is a crap-shoot with any of these... hope it turns-out well for you.

Frank, I hope your C-19 will eventually sell.

Here's another one if you are closer to Washington DC. Not nearly as cheap.
