Many thanks to all who replied, and your comments on the machine. The linked article was very helpful and interesting. I also enjoyed the patent drawings (the disc version is very similar to my machine), and the information from The Talking Machine World whereby Schroder was trying to raise capital. I also found it very interesting he had planned to produce a "hornless" horn cylinder machine (I assume this was never put into production, or commercially not successful). Last, yes this is the same machine which sold at an auction house in Florida several months ago.
