That's a rare model P-3 Adam. It came out in 1917 and sold for $600.00. It was one of the period models, for the wealthy. It was made to mimic a piece of furniture from 1770. Is this an ebay or craigslist posting?

In my opinion, that phonograph is the epitome of "the cool and the crazy." It wouldn't "go" with anything in my apartment, and that is probably the point! I like it very much.

His is in much better shape; it really looks fantastic in good condition. It's an over-the-top design, to be sure. I really like that kind of thing.

This would have originally gone in someone's Federal-Revival or Regency home when new...
