Hello,
Thanks for taking the time to take these pictures and post them on the forum! I know that there are other collectors like myself that are unable to attend the shows. I have been looking forward all week to seeing some pics from the show. It is like looking in the window of a Phono candy show!!

I agree with flashpanblue - thanks loads for posting these photos. Since I am "distance-challenged" and can't attend east coast shows, the pictures are a real treat.

I note that your seventh photo from the top is WDC's own handiwork, the sampling phono that he recently made.

Great pictures. I was there early, did the crowds ever materialize? I was surprise how few buyers where there.

I saw everything pictured but somehow totally missed the XVIII. Anyone know what price was on it?

These pics are great! Bless your heart for posting them...as I always say, this is what I think heaven is going to be like. The Technicolor Victor III is, as sellers often say, " one of a kind". What on earth were they thinking??? Prices are a litte lower this year, are they not? The Trade Mark Berliner seems to be kind of a deal.
If this trend keeps up there may be eventually a Home in my home.( Music Master horn...O repro.... :D )

The XVIII was $3600 and still there when we left at around 2-ish. I doubt it sold, but it was CLEAN. It had no reproducer, though...

I will find an XVIII one of these years in the wild, I'm convinced...:)

The crowds weren't really heavy at all while I was there, so you had to wonder...

Great pictures! Thanks!
Does anyone know of any shows remotely close to TX? Not much down here other than the common machines.
Would be a lot of fun to go to one of these, but never get a chance to go that far.
Any other collecters here from Houston? I've been to Nauck's shop and I was looking around like a kid in a candy shop. His place and Kathy and Bob at Vintage Sounds are the only places around here I have found so far. I met another local collector here who bought a roller organ I sold on Ebay and we talked for a couple of hours about his phongraph collection and he seemed to get a kick looking at my music room.

Thanks Sean, I looked for you but did not see you. I only saw/recognized Aaron and Norman. Norman demo'd his prototype electric cylinder machine. Very impressive.

Hang in there on the XVIII - I stumbled onto mine so it is possible.
