FOUND: VV-80 Lid and Semi Automatic Brake

Post by mattrx »

I recently picked up a pretty beaten up mahogany VV-80 with a high serial number near the end of production. The lid was in pieces and I cannot repair it satisfactorily. The machine was also missing the semi automatic brake. If you have either of these for sale or trade, please let me know. The brake I need is pictured below. These machines are not worth much, I know, but I just want to see if I can make it presentable.

For trade, I have a working Victor induction disc electric motor, or various tone arms, off brand reproducers, or other victor/off brand parts. I also have a few VV-50 parts I could trade if interested.

As always, any help is appreciated.

Thanks,

Matt
