How did we miss this? Or was it just me that missed it?

There must have been something wrong with it, aside from missing the reproducer? Only one bid? Or was this a buy it now auction?

There is probably $2000 worth of 7" Berliner records there, not to mention the value of the carrying case? I wouldn't even know where to start on the value of the horn?
