WANTED: Crank escutcheon (round) for Edison Opera in oak.

Post by marcapra »

I seem to have lost my crank escutcheon on my Edison Opera. Is a Triumph escutcheon the same? If you have one for sale, let me know the dimensions and distance between the screws holes.

Thank you,
Marc C.

An Opera's crank escutcheon is round, not a semi-circle.

Not on the three I have, they all have mahogany cases and have the same half-round escutcheon as in the pic.
Only oak cased Opera's have the full round escutcheon.

Dave is correct. My mahogany Operas also have the oxidized semi-circular crank escutcheon that was pictured above. Oak Operas have the (full) circular escutcheon as mentioned.

Ok, thanks for that. I should have said I have an oak Opera. I didn't know the mahogany was different. Marc.
