SOLD: SUPER CLEAN SALTER CYLINDER CABINET - $850

This is one of the finest cabinets I have ever sold. It is stunningly original. The finish is very strong. It retains all of the original record pegs. It holds 120 cylinders on 6 sets of shelves behind a single door. The original door hardware is complete and working well. It is constructed of solid oak. All four sides are constructed the same. Other than the door on the front, all four sides look exactly the same. This makes this cabinet special, as it could sit in the middle of the room and present all four beautiful sides. It is truly of a high, high quality manufacture.

I believe this to be a Salter cylinder record cabinet. I cannot find it in any of the catalogs that I have, but its high quality construction and cylinder pegs are what Salter produced. I have included a picture from a Salter catalog of a cabinet that is similar, but of a lesser grade than this cabinet.

There is not much else to say about this cabinet. It is truly a wonderful example of a really elegant oak cylinder record cabinet. While i have seen other Salter cabinets of this quality of construction, I have never seen this model. It is truly stunning!

The price for this cabinet is $850. I would prefer to have someone pick up this cabinet. I can deliver to Stanton's auction in a few weeks or even Union next year with payment. If you want to arrange your own shipping, I will help from this end.
