I would love to find a Babson Brother's cylinder cabinet, for my Edison Amberola 30 phonograph. I have found a few, but they included the machine. I just want to find the cabinet, minus the machine.
Also, looking for a cylinder cabinet to match my Edison Home phonograph. However, those are few and far between. Plus expensive. Guess, I'll just stick with the sheet music cabinet. I would love to find a chest of drawers, with a hinged glass top.

Re: Babson Brother's Cylinder Cabinet
As you know Babson Bros. was one of Edison's biggest Jobber Dealers out of Chicago and one of Edison's biggest distributors in the entire country.
For some unknown reason I have noticed over the years....that these Babson Bros. Amberola 30 Cabinets seem to show up mainly in one state for some unknown reason... The state of Pennsylvania. Every time that I see one of these Babson Bros. Amberola 30 Cabinets...they always seem to "pop-up" in Pennsylvania for some bizarre reason...and I have been looking for one myself.. Have no fear though...There are plenty around if you really want one.. as I seem to see them fetch anywhere from $350 to $550 for just the case itself depending on condition..

A number of years ago, there was a fellow in Myrtle Beach making excellent reproduction cabinets and cases. One of his specialties was a perfect reproduction Babson Amberola 30 cabinet. He has long since passed, but his cabinets live on.

Thank you Tony, The last time I found one of these cabinets, it had a machine with it. Found it in New Oxford PA.
That's a nice cabinet Rich, although Linden NJ is quite a drive for me, from Frederick Maryland.

Are you coming to the Wayne NewJersey show on April 9? I have 3 tables there and I can bring it with me for you to pick up.
