FOR SALE: Affordable Machining Services - INQUIRE

Post by benjaminh »

It looks like I will have some extra time for the foreseeable future, so I'm willing to take some machining projects. I have a well equiped home machine shop, and can produce parts affordably, without minimum quantities. I take pride in my work so your satisfaction is guaranteed. PM or email me with any projects you might have and I'll do my best to accommodate you.

I'd like to thank all the members who have contacted me regarding projects they are intersted in. I appreciate the interest, and am still taking projects.

I wanted to show a sample of my work. This is a crank adapter for an Edison Home in a Hawthorne and Sheble cabinet that a member requested me to produce. The main body is made of 1144 Stressproof steel, and the ⅛ pin is press fit. The set screw for holding the adapter to the winding shaft is present, but on the other side of the adapter, so it is not visible in the photo. The photo with measurements is the original that I duplicated.

Benjamine I would like to thank you for making this adapter for me. When I bought my Edison Home Under Glass it came with a non original crank. I was able to purchase an original Hawthorn & Sheble crank from a forum member a year ago but not the adapter. When I saw Benjamine's post I asked him to make me this adapter. I can't thank him enough as not I can finally put the correct crank on the machines me. I think his work is great and his prices are very fair.
