"Rarest of all Edison records"

Post by Larry Hawes »

So I have this bridge in New York I would like to sell very cheap. Guess someone (actually 2 folks) bought into the "Rarest of all Edison records" PT Barnam hype. Ebay 320485411644. Time to sell mine now to the second bidder. LH

Lets Build On This Subject Rarest of all Edison records

So now that we have been informed about the rarest cylinder, what about comments relating to what may really be the most rare cylinder. No tinfoil just early brown wax cylinders. Edison, Columbia, European all countries (yes, Pope and Bettini here, yes I know Bettini New York so that is included too) or your thoughts. Lets stick with brown wax cylinders that the general public could buy not one off made for one person we can do that later. This might be fun. LH

I hope, for the buyer's sake, that the cylinder doesn't shatter or crack in the mail, or on his mandrel.
