I should have used the word friction instead of dragging. Small burrs in the metal can cause friction or as I say dragging. . When pressure is put on the mandrel shaft and bearing Such as applying the mandrel and reproducer it could add to the slowing. Also excessive belt pressure can slow it down. You have a multitude of ideas to check out so have fun getting it tuned up. It is real satisfaction when you restore one to working condition.

Indeed, I really enjoy it I just didn't think I'd have this much to do to it honestly. First thing I'm going to do is add some oil to the bronze bearing. Then If that doesn't cut it, I'm going to take the mandrel and (hopefully if I have the correct attachment) clean up the end with my dremel, then use a polishing attachment to get it right. That SHOULD fix it I think. I really hate to start messing with the governor cause I have the worst luck possible.

Thanks to everyone for all the advice on this adventure! I'll keep updating y'all and hopefully I'll be able to produce a video for y'all to watch without issue! I'll choose a different song :) also, maybe someone on Google will find this helpful.

Alright guys....think this is it! I did a short video showing the same song at the beginning. The wobble was noticeable after watching it back in the beginning. I adjusted the feed pawl a little and it seems to work flawlessly now. I also tried Moonlight Bay cause it also had wobble and sounds perfect! Give me your opinion as my ear may be off!

There you go! Sounds great! Bravo. The more you play it, the better it will sound. Some of these machines will drive you nuts but, a little patience and persistence pays off. Way to go!

Thank you! Feel a lot better now...my wife is pleased because I was able to stop obsessing about it before Mother's Day haha. Very awesome when you troubleshoot something and get it fixed!
