This is an interesting looking machine. I know next to nothing about the really early Edison machines. I look forward to more knowledgable people's opinion of it.

Why don't they show the motor? It could be a variety of motor, most likely Frank Capps. Pretty sharp machine!

The motor was shown in an earlier thread:

The motor is shown, but it's not early - - probably 1901.

Ebay allows only 12 photos, but in the body of the description are additional photos showing the motor as well as closer shots of the machine.
