I'm definitely one of those goons, haven't figured it out, and usually end up saving a copy of the image and then uploading it to the site.
I just keep bringing this up because this site is gradually building up a pretty substantial knowledge base, which is great, but any information or images that requires links to an outside site for support only remains subject to that site - and in many cases likely to disappear, or become at some point inaccessible.
So I found this ad from Vancouver... but I thought it looked familiar. It is previously in this thread, not identical... but the same conversion... what do you think accounts for this? They appear to be nice jobs. (relatively speaking in the phono-cabinet-conversion world)
Those (thank God) are not converted Victrola cabinets- they are new cabinets made to look that way. You can also buy brand new cabinets that look like antique iceboxes- it's part of the Country Look.
