Good source for reproduction 14" witch's hat horn

Post by MesaMike »

I am looking for a couple of 14" horns. What is a good source for high quality reproductions?

The links section of the board has contact info for the "usual" suppliers. I'd suggest starting with Ron Sitko.

On the forum, Ripduf1 is a very good source for original horns that are very nice and a reasonably priced alternative to reproductions. The lack of the proper bead where the bell is joined spoils the reproductions for me. I have 2 of his 14" horns and he did an amazing job reworking the horn on my Canadian Berliner. If you can swing the extra cash, the original horn is a good investment and John in the best source that I am aware of.
