Re: Victor 6 with Paper Machet Horn
I really have no advice. It's way beyond my artistic abilities. Years ago, I had an art restorer do another Victor solid black paper horn. It turned out great too.

I thought these horns were only found on EMG machines. Any unique sonic character to these horns on a Victor machine ? I would guess they'd be mellower than a metal horn.

Boy guys I sure like these painted flowered horns showing up here. I've seen so few of them over the years.clarphon wrote: I have seen many of these as cylinder machine horns, but I have not seen many with birds/flowers made for a Victor machine. I'd love to see more if anyone has one. Thanks, Stan Stanford (Portland)
It's odd Stan that you have seen mostly cylinder machine type horns. In my case I don't ever remember seeing a cylinder machine horn. The ones I have seen were for Victor machines.
This is one I have in my collection. Butterfly and flowers (Dogwood I think).

Here's mine. It also has the Victor decal but I don't have a photo showing the decal.

Was there a front mount version on any of these horns? How about a Columbia version?

There's also the paper mache version with oak wood grain finish for the Victor V. Wish I had one to show!

Here is another example of the wood grained paper mache horn for a Victor.
