We love your BY and you did a great job cleaning.
Can you share what product you used to clean
this?
We are in Dallas and never find anything cool like this around here, where did you find this machine?

As Curt mentioned, it's just pressed in the hole in the cabinet.phonogal wrote:Thanks Jerry that helps me know what to look for. What does the crank escutcheon look like on the inside? Does it have a flat plate that screws in place?

Re: BY cleaned up and looking pretty good.
Thank you. I found it locally. I usually don't find anything in my area either but have found 2 nice machines in the last month. There have been quite a few machines listed lately. I used Gojo hand cleaner without pumice for cleaning. Then used Feed and Wax. Polished the horn with Mothers metal polish (that was really a job).phonolady wrote:We love your BY and you did a great job cleaning.

Wow, absolutely stunning, and that horn! I'd love to find a nice (affordable) nickel plated horn for my BKT...phonogal wrote:Here's the BY after some cleaning and polishing. Just need to replace the platter felt and find the missing crank escutcheon, correct reproducer and dust ring.

Thank you. I think that shouldn't be too difficult to replicate.JerryVan wrote:phonogal wrote:Thanks Jerry that helps me know what to look for. What does the crank escutcheon look like on the inside? Does it have a flat plate that screws in place?
