WANTED: Tungstyle clip for an HMV 101 portable

Post by shoshani »

I have an HMV 101 portable which, like many, is missing the Tungstyle clip that sits behind the tonearm. I'd like to buy one just for completion's sake, even though I have no Tungstyle tins or needles.

I’m trying to illustrate what I’m looking for, and not sure if this is the way to do it. Apparently it’s missing in a lot of 101 portables.

I’m looking for the Tungstyle needle holder clip that fastens into a slot behind the tomearm. It can kind of be seen in the picture here. Does anyone have one?

The picture shows the type of tungstyle clip that does NOT fit into a slot behind the tone arm. This one is fixed by two screws to the motor board. The earlier style of clip does indeed fit into a slot in the motor board, so which one do you need?
