Oh, I see .....

What is it that you like about this particular gramophone I wonder and (if it okay to ask) what prevents you from bidding for it ?

The HMV 102 seems to be just about the most highly regarded portable of its type, according to the postings on this site. It's Orthophonic, and it's very attractive---especially this particular example. But it's a long way off from me, clear across the big pond, and the cost of shipping, VAT, customs, etc., on top of whatever the winning bid amount is, plus the premium, would certainly put it well out of range for my budget preferences.

If it were located in the US, it would be a different story!
