Question on spray finishes...
I recently acquired an oak machine that has been refinished. It looks like a nice job but the finish is too light. I asked the previous owner about the finish and it is a lacquer. Is there an overspray that is tinted or am I looking at a refinish? Thanks for any tips. Jerry Blais

Jerry- Try mixing some stain into your Deft and spray some samples to see how it lays down. I have done this before and it seems to work quite well but I can't recall exactly if it was Deft I used, or if I tinted varnish as a base coat and then sprayed Deft over it.
