I hope someone on the Forum gets this. It should go fast for that price.

This poor machine has been listed on Craigslist since about the dawn of creation. It's in Massachusetts, not New Hampshire. No idea why it hasn't sold, but there must be some reason: http://forum.talkingmachine.info/viewto ... +something

It's a real bargain. If I only lived that side of the pond... it already would have been at home!

Viva Tonal machines are really underappreciated in my opinion. My 810 is every bit as good as a Credenza, and superior in the mid and upper ranges, actually. Plus... no pot metal! :D

After tinkering around with that tiny Viva-Tonal 202 you sold me, George, I don't see why people aren't leaping for the big ones. If one the size of a shoebox can play well, then a big cabinet model ought to really put it out.

Trust me- it DOES. I guess people are just more hung up on Victor machines, for some reason. I mean, Victors are great but Columbias are "wired for sound". They just didn't seem to be too into frills in odd ways, sometimes. Odd like my Columbia 810, which is fancy in many ways but totally lacks auto brake, for some reason. Never had it.

Victor machines are not selling either. There has been a Victor 8-30 for $100 that has not sold. It was posted after my $250 Credenza which has not been sold. If it was a Columbia 810 or 820 I would have been all over it. This one is on part with a Granada only with a larger horn.
