SOLD: Reproduction Berliner Coronation Plates - $30

Mr. Berliner had written in his diary that someday we would hang plates on the wall with pictures of deceased loved ones with recordings of their voice around the perimeter. This is as close as he would come in his lifetime; the 1902 coronation plates were issued by the European Berliner company shortly before it became the Gramophone Co. The middle features relief carvings of Wilhelmina of the Netherlands and Kind Edward of England, each with their respective national anthem. These are playable and are in E condition but are for display and/or electric play only. All copies are currently sold.
