Like several of the previous replies, it is not so much what I missed, but rather the machines I should have skipped over. Before the internet, phonograph shows, phonograph societies and all the excellent reference books now available, I was not as knowledgeable and selective as I am now. For example, I never should have purchased the mahogany VV-210 which I grew to dislike. I banished it to the garage, and eventually donated it to the Salvation Army.
