Open House (Last) Saturday. Visit Us On The Oregon Coast!

Greetings to all! Lori and Russie Ofria extend a sincere welcome to all who are able to attend the open house of fellow phonograph collectors on Saturday, October 12. Be sure to bring your items for sale or trade, be that complete machines, parts, literature or what have you. Already it appears there will be a wide choice of items. Also, if you would like to add your own demonstration, or have something you’d like to “show and tell”, this will be a great event for that. In addition to the opportunity to meet up with others of like minds, there will be several informative demonstrations, among them “How to make invisible veneer repairs” and “The workings of a Mills Coin Phonograph”. The time is 12:00 to 4:00. Afterward, there will be a group dinner at Ciccarelli’s Italian Restaurant in North Bend at 5:00 PM. I am looking forward to the beautiful drive down the Oregon coast and seeing all your terrific collection of changer machines. It is always a treat to see your phonographs and to just enjoy spending time with you and the rest of the OTAPS folks. See you Saturday!

We had such a good time. Russie and Lori were wonderful hosts. I even think I'm ready to attempt my first veneer repair.

I've always enjoyed my participation in OTAPS (Oregon Territory Antique Phonograph Society) membership. I encourage anyone to join a regional club if it's available.
