Whadda ya think?
So I picked this up at auction for $3 because mechanically it ran like a clock and I needed a Brunswick motor but it had no horn or opening for sound. Not sure what they were thinking.

Just a word of warning but when I just clicked on your picture (which is externally hosted) to look at it more carefully my anti virus software flicked up a warning that it had just blocked a virus attack.
I am interested in all forms of audio media including: gramophones, phonographs, wire recorders, the tefifon, reel to reel tapes, radiograms and radios.

Yes clicking on the picture takes you to a spoof website. It looks like Google and tells you that you are a winner.

It's just as easy to post pictures here internally, and it prevents them from becoming dead links later on.
I've lost many photos in featured Phonos and other posts, as have others, when the hosting site I used, closed down suddenly, and most of the photos I no longer have, and in some cases the machines are gone, so entire threads are basically useless now and aren't even worth the space they take up.

Ok I tried the internal posting but the picture ended sideways. How do I fix that???

I'm not sure if you can but when you click on the sideways px they seem to right themselves once enlarged.

That’s an interesting looking machine
But for $3! I would’ve bought it. It kinda looks like someone took Brunswick motor and tone arm and made a case for it?

It’s home made, but the one sided ultona for parts is worth it.

Here's something to try: Open the photo in image editing software (the package I use is freeware called PhotoScape), slightly crop the image oriented upright, and save as a new file for upload to the forum. It should then show up on the forum without the rotation. I think cell phone photos are particularly prone to this issue.stetam wrote:gramophoneshane wrote:It's just as easy to post pictures here internally, and it prevents them from becoming dead links later on.
