Also interested in Harmony 1110-h Puttin' On The Ritz
I'm looking for some more popular records to get my collection started. I'm in the process of rebuilding my VV 2-55.
Thanks!

There's also the Fred Hall/ Arthur Fields version on Gennett as The Tin Pan Paraders and Champion as Bud Carson's Collegians. IMO this is the best version of all.

Thanks, yeah - it is the Harmony Hotel Pennsylvania Music version. I just immediately went to the original version, but thanks so much for sharing the red Hall/ Arthur Fields version!!! I really like it!
You have to remember, I'm so new to this. I consider the TACO version amazing (roller skating to it in the early 1980's)!
This is my first forte in stepping back in time with my new phonograph. My first asks were from the movie "oh brother where art thou." I absolutely love faster paced music of the 20's. I picture the flappers, the 'bobbed' hairstyles, young women dancing.
Thanks,
Mark

Don Wilson sells several versions of this song on newly molded plastic records. I have one of them and it's great! He also has the most famous and original version by Harry Richman. That is if he still has them in stock.

Thank you!
Do you happen to know how to reach Don Wilson? Are his plastic records compatible with my VV 2-55 reproducer?
Thanks,
Mark

If you buy his 78s they are exactly the same compatibility as the original records... unless you buy his Diamond Disc copies and then they are compatible with Edison DD reproducers...MarkH wrote:Thank you!
