newest addition: Edison Standard Model A

Nice machine. It looks like the Edison factory was using up some old parts. The reproducer carrier is from an earlier 4 Clip Model A (made up to 1901). Old TAE didn't waste anything!

Martin, I believe the the carriage with reproducer clamps was used past the Feb. 1902 introduction of the Model C Reproducer.

Thank you for the encouragement That it had the earlier reproducer carriage and banner case, as well as it seemed like it hadn't been messed with, were the reasons I picked this one up. I already have a smaller crane mounted H&S horn I could pair with it. I just need to get another crane. Here's a folded bit of paper that came with it. It's nearly torn completely at the two creases so this is the best image I was able to get of it:

Where is the drive pulley? Did it fall off into the bottom of the case or something?

Well, it certainly postdates 1912, as it specifies "Cylinder Phonographs", and makes reference to Blue Amberols. Possibly later teens, as it mentions the speed control "under the governor cover".

I think it's still there: it just blends into the rest of the photo.
