Earliest Example of a Columbia BE ???

Post by JerryVan »

In the slow process of moving my collection from one home to another, I came across this Columbia BE. It's a very early example. Notably, the banner decal is on what would be considered the back of cabinet. Also, it has a the early weighted reproducer, versus the later spring tension style. Then the serial number, #76, with no additional information, such as model, brand, etc. Anybody have an earlier number, or one close to this, for comparison?

Very nice. Thanks for posting. I don't know of any earlier examples.
