Painted 14" Horns

Post by Jerry B. »

I had a few unpainted 14" reproduction horns and every color imaginable in the paint cupboard except gloss black. My Covid mask was in the wash so I pulled a few partial spray cans out and emptied them. I have:

Pherrari Red
Jolly Green Giant
DeeDee's Favorite Blue
Nipper's Choice Yellow

Should I stick to black?

You need a white one for a Patriotic display.

Add one purple and one orange, and you can have a gay horn pride parade.

You need one to match the Mustang. How about two- tone for the Ducks? Maybe a Beavers one for your best frenemy.

It's starting to look like the Olympic rings there for a while!

The color is "Poppy Red." Dad ordered it with the good options... a V-8, 4-speed, and the Fastback option. The list is short, it concludes with 2-speed wipers, radio, and heater. I doesn't even have backup lights. I thank him every time I drive it. I remember he paid the full sticker price of $32xx.00 and he didn't get much in trade for our '46 Dodge. I practiced parallel parking for hours and earned my license the day I turned sixteen in this car.

Tony, let's race for Victrolas! :D
