I was given an Amberola V a few year ago John Harrison. He said they call them a poor man's opera. Since the bed plate paint was 90% gone and there was no cabinet with it I thought that I would build something for it. I'm still looking for a mandrel shaft gear ( that John may have somewhere) and a governor end bearing to play it for you.

So what do you think so far?

I added a better picture note the record brush touching the mandrel I think it will work great.

I like it better than the original. The cabinet is so big on the original and what you have made looks great! Try Mark Gaisser for the mandrel shaft gear and other part you need.
